Meet the Team: Katie Kaske, The Founder Behind Kaske Law

At the heart of Kaske Law is our founder, Katie Kaske, an attorney whose career has been built on helping families navigate life's most difficult moments with honesty, compassion, and strategic advocacy.

A Calling, Not Just a Career

Katie's journey into family law didn't begin in law school. It began years earlier while serving as a Child Protective Services (CPS) Investigator with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

For more than six years, she worked alongside children and families experiencing some of the most challenging situations imaginable. She investigated allegations of abuse and neglect, managed emergency removals, testified in court, and helped protect vulnerable children while working with parents toward safe solutions.

Those experiences shaped the attorney she would eventually become. They taught her that behind every case file is a family, behind every court order is a child, and behind every legal dispute are real people trying to move forward.

Building a Strong Legal Foundation

Katie earned her Juris Doctor from UNT Dallas College of Law, where she graduated with Dean's List honors and gained valuable courtroom experience through the Joyce Ann Brown Innocence Clinic and a judicial internship with the 416th District Court in Collin County.

Before opening her own practice, she worked as an Associate Attorney at one of Texas's leading family law firms, representing clients in matters ranging from contested divorces and child custody disputes to enforcement actions, emergency hearings, and complex property division cases.

That experience gave her the opportunity to advocate in high-stakes litigation while developing the practical, solutions-oriented approach that clients know her for today.

Beyond the Courtroom

When she's not advocating for clients, Katie remains committed to continuing legal education and staying at the forefront of Texas family law. She is an active member of the Dallas Bar Association, including its Family Law and Child Welfare Sections, the Dallas Young Lawyers Association, the Texas Bar College, and the Mexican American Bar Association. She has even started collaborating with the Dallas Area Paralegal Association as well.

She has built Kaske Law PC around a team that shares her commitment to integrity, responsiveness, and client-centered service, ensuring that every client receives thoughtful guidance from the initial consultation through the conclusion of their case.
