Erik Cabrera-Zamora, Esq.
Erik serves as an Associate Attorney at Kaske Law PC and primarily works from the firm's Collin County office, representing clients throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. He focuses his practice on family law matters, including divorce, child custody, CPS cases, and property division disputes. Known for his thoughtful approach and strong advocacy, Erik enjoys helping clients navigate complex divorces, particularly cases involving significant property and financial issues.

Whether negotiating a favorable settlement or preparing for trial, he is committed to helping clients achieve solutions that protect their families, finances, and futures.

Erik attended Austin College, where he graduated with honors in Economics and served as President of the Austin College Mock Trial Association. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law. During law school, Erik served on the executive board of the Hispanic Law Student Association, competed on the National Trial Competition Team, worked as a Student Attorney in the Community Lawyering Clinic, and was selected as a TEDx speaker.

In addition to being licensed to practice law in Texas, Erik is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas.

While Erik's legal practice centers on family law, his passion for advocacy extends beyond the courtroom. He is particularly interested in issues affecting families and communities impacted by mandatory minimum sentencing laws and believes strongly in using his voice to support meaningful change.

Outside of work, Erik enjoys collecting physical media and exploring the stories that shape how people connect with one another. His favorite films are Past Lives and Silver Linings Playbook, both of which resonate with him because they capture the complexity, nuance, and humanity of relationships. He also shares his home with a beloved cat who keeps life interesting when he is away from the office.
